Hello and welcome,

I’m Dr. Jim Marx, a graduate of the University of Nebraska, College of Medicine Omaha. My journey took me to the esteemed Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, for postgraduate training in anesthesiology and internal medicine, which eventually led me to Las Vegas where I have been practicing Pain and Addiction Medicine for the past three decades.

Back in 2005, when the medical malpractice crisis was at its peak, I felt compelled to do something to help our medical community. I embarked on creating a doctor-owned medical malpractice insurer that focused on nonsurgical physicians. I’m proud to say that we managed to become the most affordable medical malpractice insurer in Nevada, a fact that has been verified by multiple reviews in the Clark County Medical Society.

As a licensed property, casualty, life, health, and surety insurance producer in Nevada, I’ve dedicated my career to not only treating patients but also safeguarding physicians and medical professionals. Over the past two decades, I’ve been involved in the defense of nearly 100 medical malpractice claims and served as an expert witness for the Nevada Medical Board. I’ve also had the privilege to offer my expertise as a consultant for many physicians navigating investigations by the Board and governmental entities.
