Nevada Docs Medical Risk Retention Group, Inc. has been created under authority of Federal Legislation-the Liability and Risk Retention Act of 1981 and subsequent amendments. This legislation allows homogeneous groups to form risk-sharing entities with most of the characteristics of a conventional insurance company. The entity must first be licensed and domiciled in one state as any insurance company but unlike conventional insurers may expand into other states without additional licensing.

Each group is required to meet the licensing requirements of its initial domicile and continue in good standing with that state. Our Group must submit quarterly and annual reports to the NAIC as well as submit to a yearly certified audit for the Nevada Division of Insurance.

Each additional state that the group does business in requires registration prior to doing business in that state. Nevada Docs Medical Risk Retention Group is domiciled in Nevada and has received a Certificate of Authority in Nevada. We began insurance operations on March 1,2006. At the present time this Group does not intend to do business in any other states.

Nevada Docs Medical Risk Retention Group, Inc. has been created with the intention of providing medical malpractice insurance to the non-surgical physicians of Southern Nevada with exemplary practices.
