Nevada Docs Medical Risk Retention Group has secured Reinsurance through five A-rated insurers. Under these reinsurance treaties, the RRG has transferred a substantial portion of risk and the treaty provides for significant recapture of premium with successful experience.

Shares issued prior to the granting of the COA were priced at $1 per share. For thirty days after the issuance of the COA, the share price was increased to $2.50 per share. The price per share following this thirty day period became the greater of $5 per share or the book value of the stock. The price per share does not affect the individual shareholders total share purchase price as it only affects the total number of shares obtained. The number of shares obtained upon entry will however affect the value of the stock redemption upon leaving the RRG.

Risk retention groups do not participate in State insurance guaranty associations unlike conventional insurers. Shareholders may be required to increase the Groups capital and surplus if losses are deemed excessive.
